Druid apprentice: Gathering and making syrup

Instead of creating magic potions, we're offering an afternoon of immersion in the gardens of Lacaze aux sottises, in Orion, between Salies and Sauveterre-de-Béarn.

In this experimental, alternative eco-location, people and the environment are at the heart of every project. In the educational garden, rainwater and subsoil water are collected, natural fertilisers are used, biodiversity is encouraged and plants and cuttings are home-grown.

After a visit to the market gardens and orchard, it's time to pick mint, basil, lavender and thyme, which will be boiled and reduced to make 100% natural syrup. Bring your own syrup to enjoy at home.

For 6 to 12 people.
Suitable for all ages 3 and up.
Boiling water handling: each child must be accompanied by an adult.
