Terre et Temps Festival, visit to the Gurs camp

Visit to the Gurs internment camp and presentation of the sculpture ‘Restlicht’ by the German-Czech artist Werner Mally.
Renate Savant, a member of the Rheinstetten/Navarrenx twinning association, will be on hand to tell our guests about the history of the camp. One of the aims of the twinning is to perpetuate the memory of the deportation of Jews from Baden and Palatinate to the Gurs camp.
