Clown workshop with Véronique Tuaillon. According to Véronique, clowning is an actor's craft, a craft that draws on the flaws and imperfections of each individual. The clown is above all a player, close to our inner child. The clown makes us laugh with his shifts and his naivety. The clown makes us laugh, and we laugh at him, because he's worse than we are in his social maladjustment, and somehow he reassures us...
This workshop is designed for a varied audience wishing to discover or deepen their knowledge of clowning. Different types of clown humor will be explored, with a particular focus on emotional humor.
Trainees will work in groups and individually, guided step by step to develop their strengths and discover new colors if their characters are already well inhabited.
