Alain Larribet is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and singer. But above all, he is the son of farmers who grew up in Béarn. He retains a deep connection to the land and to Occitan culture. As a young adult, however, he felt the need to travel in order to broaden and enrich his human and musical horizons. From his travels, Alain brings back stories, encounters with people deeply connected to their land, and instruments from faraway places.
“Le berger des sons” tells the story of a life shaped by travel, encounters and nature. Alone on stage, stories, songs and instruments from elsewhere come together to awaken the senses and stir a collective memory.
