Since time immemorial, the water of the springs in our Pyrenees has been used for therapeutic purposes. The 17th and 19th centuries saw the creation of numerous establishments in our regions. Some of them became renowned thermal baths sought after by a prestigious and international clientele, others remained more confidential, only frequented by the inhabitants of our valleys, and some fell into oblivion... Pierre CASTILLOU tells the fascinating story of these thirty establishments of our valleys.
