The Aappma is organising a trout fishing open day with activities for children, meeting at the Gave campsite.
From dawn until late afternoon, a course on the banks of the Gave d'Oloron will be reserved for them all day. The upstream limit is the Pont de la Légende and the downstream limit is the footbridge linking the campsite to the Ile de la Glère. Children will be able to fish for 25cm trout!
Volunteers from the Aappma will be on hand to help and advise the younger anglers, and the association's wardens will be on hand to make sure the day runs smoothly, so grab your rods!
