Description
The Choralliances collective, initiated in 2022 around an initial creative project, brings together three choirs of 70 amateur singers from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department.
Since 2024, these three choirs have been rehearsing the Misa Tango, a work by contemporary Argentine composer Martin PALMERI.
La Misa à Buenos Aires, also known as Misatango, is a musical setting of the Latin mass.
The music uses the style of nuevo tango and its typical instrumentation, written for mezzo-soprano, mixed choir and an ensemble of bandoneon and piano.
The Choralliances collective brings together three choirs:
- Mendiz Mendi in Tardets-Sorholus, directed by Jacky RASTOUL
- L?Espace à Chanter in Oloron-Sainte-Marie, directed by Christian LANOUE
- Tem?pau in Pau, directed by Christian LANOUE
