Description

This lowland forest, planted with pedunculate oaks 150 years ago, is managed by the ONF (Office National des Forêts) in consultation with local councillors. Daniel Arribère, mayor from 2001 to 2020, will explain all the stages in the life of a forest: planning and carrying out logging operations, marketing the wood produced, replanting and natural regeneration of the forest, and the use of firewood by local residents. The wood in question is stave wood and barrel staves.
