Description
The birthplaces of the Three Musketeers and their captain are organising a series of events from 10 to 27 September.
This event pays tribute to Alexandre Dumas’s illustrious characters who hailed from the region, particularly in the commune of Athos-Aspis, the family home of Armand de Sillègue d’Athos d’Autevielle, who inspired the character of Athos.
The programme includes a walk and horse ride setting off from Laàs at 8 am and arriving in Athos-Aspis at around 4 pm.
A communal lunch break will take place halfway along the route, in Andrein.
To round off the day, a commemorative plaque will be unveiled next to the ruins of the house of the musketeer, Athos.
