Description
Between 1913 and 1924, Charlotte Combe St Macary, sole heiress to her father's fortune, built an Italo-Moorish-style mansion and 17 hectares of lavishly flowered gardens with sumptuous ornamental monuments in Labastide-Villefranche. A journey through what was once one of the most beautiful estates in the Béarn-des-Gaves region.
As part of JEP, open house in the gardens of Château Bijou on the theme of the 19th century.

Guided tours of the gardens from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or free visits.
5:30pm: Concert by ARRAYA, a polyphonic, vocalcitrant and rural group from Béarn, in the Labastide-Villefranche church.
Catering (taloa) on site at lunchtime and after the concert.
