The Nipponia Association invites you to come and celebrate the Japanese festival of Tango no Sekku, a cultural and family-friendly day in the heart of the 14th-century Leü castle.
This convivial, Japanese-themed day is being organised in support of the Leü’s projects.
A small market and a flea market will accompany the various workshops and activities on the programme:
11.30am tour of the gardens
12 noon lunch
1pm coconut shy competitions
2pm an introduction to the history of Leü
2.30pm origami workshop
3pm indigo dyeing workshop
4pm an introduction to Awa Odori
and, of course, refreshments and food available on site.
