Description
The art gallery is showcasing the work of three painters. Renée Tortet explores the boundaries between the visible and the invisible through a pictorial practice that navigates between realism, the imaginary and abstraction. Through her portraits of children and her beach scenes, she seeks to capture pure emotions such as innocence and joy, inviting the viewer to form an immediate connection with the work.
Christine Pierrard navigates between light and shadow. Just like her paintings, the night brings calm, an almost total pause in the world’s hustle and bustle: a time to dream, read a book, drink a cup of tea… Black and white are her hallmarks, like a part of ourselves within this duality.
In recent years, Nathalie Doucet has rediscovered a more personal form of creativity, blending paint and paper, with the latter playing a prominent role in her current work.
