This plain forest, planted with pedunculate oaks 150 years ago, is managed by the ONF (Office National des Forêts) in consultation with the local elected officials
All the stages of the life of a forest will be explained by Daniel Arribère, mayor from 2001 to 2020: planning and realization of the wood cuts, marketing of the produced wood, replanting and natural regeneration of the forest, valuation of the firewood by the inhabitants of the village.
