Your guide will take you on a tour of the medieval town, listed as a "petite cité de caractère", with its panoramic views over the Pyrenees, and its magnificent monuments, including the church, the bridge and the Tour Monréal, all of which are listed as Historic Monuments. Take a stroll along the banks of the river Gave. It will tell you all about Sauveterre's rich history, its great hours, its legends and the characters who have marked the centuries.
Your ticket will then take you into the majestic setting of the Tour Monréal for a visit lasting around 1 hour. Let yourself be transported back to medieval Béarn from the 13th to the 16th century, thanks to a modern, fun-filled museography featuring the reconstitution of the Cité, made of thousands of stones, beams and joists, calibrated and assembled to the 100th.
