Description
Les Jardins de Cinquantie, the name of the 18th-century Béarnaise house on IGN maps, grew out of a huge cornfield and a patch of stunted meadow covering an area of 10,000 m2. In January 2006, the date of acquisition, the land was planted with an old peach tree and a dwarf rosebush now known as the Eugénie rosebush, the name of the former owner. Today, this small estate is made up of several gardens with different atmospheres that take us on a journey through time, history and the geography of the world. These are the gardens of enlightened aesthetes rather than collectors and botanical scientists.
