Description
The Art et Environnement association offers a watercolour painting workshop in the streets of Sauveterre-de-Béarn. The workshop will be led by Cécile Van Espen, a watercolour artist who will guide you throughout this immersive experience and share her techniques with you. She will guide you in sketching the Béarn architecture in situ using watercolours with its traditional, characterful houses, narrow streets and ramparts, the banks of the Gave river and its historic remains whilst remaining attentive to everyone’s needs. The workshop will take place outdoors or under cover (in inclement weather) and will be conducted with due regard for the movement of people and vehicles. Beginners are welcome and a maximum of 8 people are expected.
Materials are not provided, so please remember to bring your watercolour pans, brushes and easels, as well as a stool, water and a cup, a hat and picnic.
